SlyWord is an offline party word game developed by StackExpert.pk.
We respect your privacy. SlyWord has been designed to work without requiring an account, cloud storage, advertising, or unnecessary collection of personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use SlyWord.
1. Information We Collect
SlyWord does not collect personal data from users.
The current version of SlyWord does not require:
Account registration
Email address
Phone number
Location
Contacts
Camera access
Microphone access
Advertising identifiers
Payment information
We do not collect or transmit your gameplay information to StackExpert servers.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
To provide its features, SlyWord may store certain information locally on your device, including:
Player names entered by you
Saved player groups
Game history
Scores and gameplay statistics
App settings and preferences
Custom word packs created by you
Recently used words and game configuration
Locally imported word packs
This information remains stored on your device and is not automatically transmitted to StackExpert.pk or any external server.
You can remove this information by deleting relevant content inside the app, resetting app data where available, or uninstalling SlyWord.
3. Offline Operation
SlyWord is designed to function offline.
Core gameplay does not require:
Internet access
A cloud account
Online authentication
Remote databases
Your private game information, including secret words and player roles, is processed locally on your device.
4. Advertising and Tracking
The current version of SlyWord does not contain advertisements.
We do not currently use:
Advertising SDKs
Behavioral advertising
Analytics tracking SDKs
Cross-app tracking
User profiling
Third-party marketing trackers
5. Data Sharing
SlyWord does not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or third parties because the current version does not collect personal information from users.
6. Custom Word Pack Import and Export
SlyWord allows users to create, import, export, and share custom word packs.
When you choose to import a file, SlyWord only accesses the file you explicitly select through your device’s file picker.
When you choose to export or share a word pack, Android’s system sharing interface may allow you to send the file to another application or service selected by you.
SlyWord does not automatically upload these files to StackExpert.pk.
Once you voluntarily share a file with another application or service, that third party’s own privacy policy and terms may apply.
7. Device Storage
SlyWord may use local application storage to save game settings, player information, custom packs, game history, and other app-related data.
This information remains under the control of the user’s device.
SlyWord does not provide automatic cloud synchronization in the current version.
8. Security and Private Game Information
SlyWord includes measures intended to protect private gameplay information, such as secret words and player roles during pass-the-phone gameplay.
Certain private screens may use Android security features to help prevent screenshots or previews from exposing secret game information.
These protections are intended for gameplay privacy and do not involve sending private information to StackExpert.pk.
9. Children’s Privacy
SlyWord is intended as a social party game for teenagers and adults and is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
Because SlyWord does not require an account and does not collect personal information through our servers, we do not maintain user profiles for children.
10. Third-Party Services
The current version of SlyWord does not rely on third-party analytics, advertising, authentication, or cloud-storage services for its core functionality.
Your device operating system may provide system features such as:
File selection
File sharing
App installation
System accessibility features
These services are controlled by your device platform and may be subject to the privacy terms of the relevant platform provider.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
Because SlyWord stores gameplay information locally, data generally remains on your device until you:
Delete the relevant information within the app
Clear the app’s storage/data through device settings
Reset application data where available
Uninstall SlyWord
StackExpert.pk cannot remotely access or delete locally stored SlyWord data because it is not stored on our servers.
12. Future Changes
SlyWord may receive new features in future versions.
If a future version introduces functionality that changes how user information is collected, processed, stored, or shared, we will update this Privacy Policy and make any required disclosures through Google Play.
We will also update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect product improvements, legal requirements, or changes to SlyWord.
We encourage users to review this page occasionally for updates.
Continued use of SlyWord after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy where permitted by applicable law.
